JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2014 The Indonesian National Shipowners\u2019 Association\n(INSA) is actively participating in the Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2026\nevent held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.<\/p>\n
In this maritime forum themed \u201cFuture of Vessels: Solutions for\nTomorrow\u201d, taking place in Singapore from 25\u201327 March 2026, INSA is\nseizing the opportunity to capture the direction of transformation in\nthe shipping industry while opening up collaboration prospects with\nglobal industry players.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvents like this are important not only for building networks but\nalso for enhancing insights and seeking opportunities that can\nstrengthen the competitiveness of the national maritime industry on the\nglobal stage,\u201d said Carmelita in an official statement on Friday\n(27\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
She added that INSA is also using this platform to offer\ncollaborations with global maritime industry players, particularly in\norganising the Indonesia Maritime Week (IMW) 2027.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn this occasion, INSA is also offering cooperation to regional and\nglobal industry players in organising the Indonesia Maritime Week, which\nis planned to be held in 2027 in Indonesia,\u201d Carmelita stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cBuilding on the success of IMW 2025, this event is expected to serve\nas a space for exchanging ideas and business opportunities for the\ndevelopment of the national, regional, and global maritime sectors,\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n
APM 2026 is attended by more than 20,000 participants from various\ncountries, making it one of the largest maritime forums in the Asia\nPacific region.<\/p>\n
The INSA delegation, led directly by Carmelita, is present with\naround 60 participants comprising executives and national shipping\nbusiness players.<\/p>\n
The INSA pavilion itself is utilised as a space for interaction with\nvarious stakeholders, both domestic and international.<\/p>\n
Several key figures visited the INSA pavilion, including the\nIndonesian Ambassador to Singapore Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan and the CEO\nof the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore, Ang Wee\nKeong.<\/p>\n
In addition, representatives from regional shipping associations such\nas FASA, SSA, MASA, and ASA were present to exchange views on the\ndynamics of the global shipping industry while strengthening\ninter-country collaboration.<\/p>\n
