        "content": "<p>INRO to halt stock sales<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Dow Jones): In addition to suspending sales of<br>\nrubber stored in Europe, the International Natural Rubber<br>\nOrganization will halt sales of rubber Nov. 6-10 in the U.S.,<br>\nINRO Chief Executive Arch Roberts told Dow Jones Newswires<br>\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Suspending the sales will allow him to meet the INRO staff<br>\nresponsible for these areas to discuss administrative and<br>\nlogistical issues, said Roberts, in an e-mail response to<br>\nquestions on why INRO has decided to take a break from selling.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement earlier Wednesday, INRO said sales of rubber<br>\nfrom Asian warehouses would be suspended for \"administrative and<br>\nlogistical reasons\" until Nov. 13, when it would resume seeking<br>\nbids for all locations.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts cited heavy paperwork related to \"contract<br>\nadministration, terms of payment, banking issues, investment of<br>\ncash proceeds in fixed deposits\" as one reason for suspending<br>\nsales.<\/p>",
