        "content": "<p>PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney, has deployed\n2,418 homebound travellers heading to various cities across Indonesia as\npart of the Free Mudik Together BUMN 2026 Programme. The national\ndispatch of passengers was carried out through a flag-off ceremony in\nthe Gelora Bung Karno Ring Road area in Senayan, Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, InJourney\u2019s subsidiary InJourney Airports, which manages\n37 airports, had already dispatched 400 mudik participants from Makassar\nto Surabaya the day before, on 16 March 2026. The departure from\nMakassar complements the transportation support provided by InJourney\nduring the Eid al-Fitr holiday 1447 Hijri, whilst demonstrating concrete\nBUMN synergy in serving communities throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The programme has been organised as a demonstration of concern for\nthe public by providing safe, comfortable travel facilities for mudik\nwhilst prioritising safety aspects. Additionally, the programme is\nexpected to help reduce the risk of traffic accidents, which typically\nincrease during the mudik period.<\/p>\n<p>InJourney\u2019s Director of Human Resources and Digital, Herdy Harman,\nstated that InJourney\u2019s participation in this programme represents a\nmanifestation of the BUMN\u2019s commitment to being present alongside\nsociety and providing tangible social benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInJourney\u2019s participation in this programme is part of our\ncommitment as a BUMN holding in the aviation and tourism sector to\nprovide inclusive and directly impactful connectivity for society.\nThrough this programme, we not only provide transportation facilities,\nbut also ensure that homebound travellers experience security and\ncomfort by prioritising safety aspects,\u201d said Herdy in a written\nstatement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Herdy also expressed hope that the initiative would help ease mudik\ncongestion whilst delivering sustainable social benefits for communities\nthroughout Indonesia, in line with efforts to create a meaningful Eid\ncelebration.<\/p>\n<p>He added that all transportation modes used have met strict safety\nand operational standards. InJourney Group also ensures that the\ndeparture process runs in an orderly, secure manner and in accordance\nwith applicable regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one mudik participant from Solo, Heru, stated that he was\ngreatly assisted by the InJourney Free Mudik programme in reducing\ntravel costs to his hometown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBus fares from Jakarta to Solo can reach around 600,000 rupiah per\nperson. With this programme, we are greatly helped because that budget\ncan be redirected for daily needs and family expenses. The service is\nalso comfortable, and this year there are improvements such as goodie\nbag distribution and assistance for breaking the fast. In the future,\nhopefully this programme can continue to be improved and better\norganised,\u201d Heru said.<\/p>\n<p>Another participant from Boyolali, Widhi, also expressed his\nappreciation for the programme, which he deemed well-executed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah I was able to participate in this mudik programme\nbecause everything is well organised, the facilities and services are\nalso very adequate. In the future, hopefully the number of bus fleets\nand destination cities can be increased so that more people can benefit\nfrom it,\u201d said Widhi.<\/p>\n<p>The Free Mudik Together InJourney 2026 provides various\ntransportation modes from strategic departure points such as Jakarta,\nTangerang, Makassar, and Ambon to several destination cities, including\nSolo, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Magelang, Surabaya, Lampung, Palembang, and\nSeram Island.<\/p>\n<p>This programme is part of the national Free Mudik Together BUMN 2026\ninitiative, which is targeting the transportation of approximately\n100,000 homebound travellers via land, sea, and rail, with support from\nthe BUMN Regulatory Body and BPI Danantara.<\/p>\n<p>Through this initiative, InJourney reaffirms its role as a BUMN\nholding that focuses not only on developing the national aviation and\ntourism sector, but is also oriented towards providing social benefits\nand enhancing public safety, in line with the spirit of Safe Mudik,\nShared Hope.<\/p>",
