        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The government and the House of\nRepresentatives (DPR) are currently formulating the Draft Law on the\nInternational Financial Centre (PFII), which includes provisions for the\nestablishment of the PFII Management Body. During a public hearing\nrelated to the drafting of the PFII Bill, Business Law expert and\nProfessor of Commercial Law at Gajah Mada University (UGM),\nProf.\u00a0Paripurna P. Sugarda, revealed that the initial capital for the\nestablishment of the PFII Management Body could come from various\nsources. One such source could be the Investment Management Agency Daya\nAnagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara). Additionally, funds could originate\nfrom State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) or cash. \u201cThe initial capital of the\nLP PFII is sourced from business entities or the Daya Anagata Nusantara\nInvestment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), and\/or other legitimate\nsources in accordance with statutory provisions,\u201d Paripurna stated\nduring the public hearing with the PFII Bill Working Committee at the\nCommission XI meeting room of the DPR, Jakarta, Monday (6\/7\/2026). This\nprovision is already included in the draft of the PFII Bill. The\nprovision is contained in Article 5, with the following details:\nParagraph (1) The initial capital of the LP PFII may take the form of:\na. cash funds; b. state property; c.\u00a0property of state-owned\nenterprises; and\/or d.\u00a0other legitimate assets. Paragraph (2) The\ninitial capital of the LP PFII is sourced from business entities or the\nDaya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara)\nand\/or other legitimate sources in accordance with statutory provisions.\nParagraph (3) Within a maximum period of 30 (thirty) calendar days after\nreceiving the initial capital as referred to in paragraph (2), the head\nof the LP PFII shall submit a work plan and budget for the allocation of\nthe initial capital to the Governor for approval.<\/p>",
