        "content": "<p>Indramayu Police have uncovered a theft case that occurred in Anjatan\nDistrict, Indramayu Regency. In the matter, police detained two people\nsuspected of being the perpetrators, with the initials C (54) and IG\n(51).<\/p>\n<p>Both were detained in a series of disclosures carried out from Sunday\nto Monday, 23\u201324 August 2026. The arrests were made after the Resmob\nUnit of the Indramayu Police Criminal Investigation Unit together with\nthe Anjatan Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an\ninvestigation into a theft report that occurred on 1 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Indramayu Police Chief, AKBP Prianggo PM, through the Head of\nCriminal Investigation at Indramayu Police, AKP Muchammad Arwin Bachar,\nsaid the victim lost one Yamaha NMAX motorcycle and two mobile phones\nfrom his house on Gang Salak, Kopyah Village, Anjatan District. The loss\nwas estimated at around Rp 18 million.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter receiving the report, the Resmob Unit together with the\nAnjatan Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a crime scene\ninvestigation and a series of inquiries to identify the parties\nsuspected of being involved,\u201d said Arwin on Thursday (27\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>From the results of the investigation, officers then identified two\npeople suspected of committing the theft and subsequently made the\narrests. Based on the initial examination, C is suspected of having\nacted as the main perpetrator who entered the victim\u2019s house.<\/p>\n<p>IG is suspected of assisting in the act and carrying the stolen goods\nto be sold. Police also secured a number of pieces of evidence,\nincluding a mobile phone known to belong to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe evidence was subsequently secured for the purposes of the\ninvestigation,\u201d said AKP Arwin.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, the Head of Public Relations at Indramayu Police, AKP\nTarno, again urged the public not to hesitate to report if they discover\nany criminal acts or disturbances to public order in their respective\nneighbourhoods.
