Syaifudin was implicated in the\ncase during his tenure as Chairman of the Indramayu Regency DPRD for the\n2019-2024 period. In addition to Syaifudin, the West Java High\nProsecutor\u2019s Office has named two former acting and permanent DPRD\nsecretaries, with the initials IM and AF, as suspects. \u2018It is true that\ntoday the special crimes investigators at the West Java High\nProsecutor\u2019s Office summoned three suspects, namely S (Syaifudin), IM,\nand AF, in the alleged corruption case of housing and transport\nallowances for the leadership and members of the Indramayu Regency DPRD\nfor the 2022 to 2025 fiscal years,\u2019 said Nur Sricahyawijaya, Head of\nPublic Relations for the West Java High Prosecutor\u2019s Office, as reported\nby detikJabar on Friday (12\/6\/2026). IM and AF complied with the\nprosecutor\u2019s summons for questioning as suspects. Meanwhile, Syaefudin\nfailed to appear, citing illness. \u2018One suspect, S, did not attend\ntoday\u2019s examination due to illness and has sent a sick note to the\ninvestigation team,\u2019 Cahya stated. Cahya could not yet provide detailed\nexplanations regarding the handling of the case.
