        "content": "<p>Indosat to hold bowling tournament<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The top bowlers from nine provinces and Batam<br>\nIsland are competing for a total cash prize of Rp 86.75 million<br>\nin the Sixth National Indosat Championships at the Jaya Ancol and<br>\nMegamal Pluit bowling allies from Nov. 12 to Nov. 21.<\/p>\n<p>The bowlers come from North Sumatra, South Sumatra, West<br>\nSumatra, Riau, East Kalimantan, Jakarta, West Java, East Java,<br>\nBali and Batam.<\/p>\n<p>Organizer Teguh Trilaksono said on Friday the 10-day<br>\ntournament was being held to commemorate state-owned<br>\ninternational telecommunications provider Indosat&apos;s 20th<br>\nanniversary on Nov. 22.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We are, of course, grateful to be able to hold this national-<br>\nlevel tournament. We also want to contribute to the sport of<br>\nbowling,&quot; Brata Hardjosubroto of Indosat said.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament also will feature participants from both<br>\nprivate and foreign companies, as well as police officers, Teguh<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Teguh added that any bowler who recorded a perfect game would<br>\nwin Rp 25 million.<\/p>\n<p>National Sports Council vice chairman Harsuki opened the<br>\ntournament on Friday by bowling the first ball.
