Indoprom service<\/p>\n
During 1993 I ordered my weekly magazine The Economist and the
\nSaturday edition of the Dutch Telegraaf from a Malang (East Java)
\nbook store. I enjoyed their punctual delivery. Unfortunately the
\nbook store ceased business and I took a subscription on the
\nEconomist with Indoprom. Since then, not one Economist has been
\ndelivered within the period mentioned in the cover.<\/p>\n
Copies mostly arrive in the middle of the week, or even later.
\nIt is impossible to contact Indoprom by phone, the lines are
\neither busy or you are shuffled from one person to another,
\nwithout success, as it seems only ignorant persons are working
\nover there. Letters go unanswered.<\/p>\n
For the editions of the Telegraaf, I contacted the Indoprom
\nbranch in Surabaya by phone, but I was rather arrogantly informed
\nthat they did not want to send this newspaper to Malang, although
\nI offered to pay for the postage costs. Even delivery to my
\nsister-in-law, living in Surabaya, was refused.<\/p>\n
