        "content": "<p>JAKarta, Kompas.com - Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah\n(Kemenhaj) has prepared a protective service for Indonesian pilgrims\nduring the MINA phase using the Mobile Crisis Rescue (MCR) system in the\nJamarat area.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018MCR, or Mobile Crisis Rescue, is a specialised team and command post\nfrom Hajj service personnel deployed in the Jamarat, MINA area,\u2019 said\nKemenhaj spokesperson Maria Assegaff during a press conference on\nKemenhaj\u2019s YouTube channel on Thursday, 28 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The MCR team is set up to provide first aid, emergency evacuations,\nand crowd management during the stoning ritual on the Days of\nTashreeq.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This team is responsible for first aid, emergency evacuations, and\nmanaging crowd densities during the peak Hajj period,\u2019 Maria stated.<\/p>\n<p>This deployment ensures officials can monitor the situation in real\ntime to respond quickly to emergencies and assist pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018MCR was specifically established to respond to emergencies,\nincluding handling pilgrims who faint, get lost, experience extreme\nfatigue, and evacuating elderly and disabled pilgrims,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n<p>This aligns with the government\u2019s commitment to providing safe,\norderly, elderly-friendly, disabled-friendly, and women-friendly Hajj\nservices.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018P pilgrim protection is a priority. Therefore, officials are not\nonly stationed at pilgrim tents but also deployed along movement routes,\nsurveillance posts, and high-density areas.
