        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia\u2019s fiscal performance remains strong and\nhas exceeded analysts\u2019 predictions, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi\nSadewa stated here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Sadewa stated that the government will officially release the April\nedition of the APBN KiTA (State Budget Performance and Facts) report at\na press conference scheduled for Tuesday (May 19) and ensured that the\nreport reflects the strong fundamentals of the national economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is important is that tomorrow there will be the APBN KiTA\nreport up to April. The results are good and certainly beyond analysts\u2019\nexpectations,\u201d he remarked at the Presidential Palace Complex.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the government\u2019s fiscal position has been well\nmaintained despite global external pressures.<\/p>\n<p>He also responded to criticism from several foreign parties who\nassessed that Indonesia\u2019s fiscal condition was problematic.<\/p>\n<p>Sadewa explained that the government\u2019s economic development strategy\ndoes not rely solely on state spending but also encourages the private\nsector\u2019s active role.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that Indonesia\u2019s economic growth of 5.61 percent in the\nfirst quarter of 2026 was the result of combined contributions from\nvarious economic sectors.<\/p>\n<p>He assessed the economic growth achievement as an important\naccomplishment as it occurred during challenging global conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur economic fundamentals are good.
