During his speech at the\nPancasila Birth Anniversary ceremony held at the Pancasila Building in\nJakarta, the President called on all government stakeholders to reflect\non Indonesia\u2019s current state on this occasion of Pancasila Day 2026.\nPrabowo said the uneven impact of economic growth on Indonesian society\nis a weakness the nation must honestly acknowledge. \u2018For decades,\nIndonesia\u2019s economy has indeed grown. But has that growth been even?\u2019\nPrabowo said on Monday, 1 June 2026. \u2018Let us always be honest with\nourselves when assessing the current reality. We must acknowledge our\nweaknesses and challenges,\u2019 he added. Prabowo then outlined Indonesia\u2019s\nabundant natural resources, from minerals to agriculture, which are in\nhigh demand by the modern world. The President stressed that Indonesia\nis one of the largest producers of critical minerals needed by other\ncountries today, such as copper, tin, gold, rare earth metals, palm oil,\ncoal, nickel, and other vital agricultural commodities. \u2018We understand\nwe possess extraordinary natural wealth. We are among the largest\nproducers of commodities essential to modern technology and the global\neconomy,\u2019 Prabowo said. Moreover, Prabowo noted that Indonesia has\nachieved food self-sufficiency at a time when many other nations\nstruggle with food security.
