        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Indonesia\u2019s automotive export performance in\nApril 2026 continued to show resilience amid a global market slowdown.\nAlthough exports of completely built-up (CBU) vehicles declined compared\nto the previous month, the completely knocked-down (CKD) vehicle segment\nrecorded a significant surge. According to data from the Indonesian\nAutomotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), CBU exports in the early\nsecond quarter of 2026 totalled 36,207 units, a 1.8% decrease from the\n36,867 units achieved in March 2026. Meanwhile, CKD exports posted more\npositive results. Throughout April 2026, total shipments reached 6,819\nset units, up 35.4% from 5,038 set units in March 2026. On a\nyear-on-year basis, CKD exports also rose 15% from the same period last\nyear, which recorded 5,924 set units. Automotive component exports\namounted to 10,328,460 pieces, a substantial 33.9% decline from March\n2026\u2019s 15,629,731 pieces. Nevertheless, on an annual basis, component\nexports still grew 18.4% compared to April 2025, which stood at\n8,723,878 pieces. From the manufacturers\u2019 side, Toyota remained the\nlargest contributor to CBU exports with a total of 12,736 units. The\nnext position was held by Daihatsu with 9,652 units and Mitsubishi\nMotors with 7,345 units. Hyundai followed with 3,727 units, followed by\nHonda with 1,056 units and Suzuki with 1,045 units. Meanwhile, Isuzu\nrecorded 477 units, Wuling 118 units, and Hino 51 units. In the CKD\nsegment, Mitsubishi Motors continued to dominate with 4,528 set units.\nSuzuki was in second place with 1,212 set units, followed by Hyundai\nwith 960 set units and Wuling with 119 set units.<\/p>",
