Indonesians win trip to South Korea<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Four Indonesian high school and university students
\nwill get the chance to visit various places in South Korea after
\nthey were declared on Tuesday as winners of a writing contest on
\nSouth Korea.<\/p>\n
The writing contest, the eighth edition, was organized by the
\nSouth Korean Embassy and the National Education Ministry with
\n1,431 entries from all over Indonesia to improve Indonesia's
\nunderstanding of South Korea.<\/p>\n
The South Korean ambassador in Jakarta Yun Hai-jun and the
\nministry's director general for elementary education Indra Djati
\nSidi were present at the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n
In the high school category, Sofi Sofiatin of Cianjur, West
\nJava won and Rahmawati Rahman of Tenggarong, East Kalimantan was
\nthe runner-up.<\/p>\n
Nur Rakhman Sasmita of Brawijaya University in Malang, East
\nJava and Imam Risdiyanto of Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta
\nwere named the winner and runner-up in the university category
\nrespectively.<\/p>\n
The winners and an official from the ministry are set to leave
\nfor South Korea on Tuesday evening and return on Dec. 15.<\/p>\n
Each winner also got prize money of Rp 1 million (US$117)
\nwhile the runners-up got Rp 500,000 each. -- JP<\/p>",
