        "content": "<p>The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has revealed that Indonesia\u2019s\npublic debt from online loans (pinjol) or peer-to-peer (P2P) lending\nfinancial technology financing has reached more than Rp 101 trillion.\nThis figure has grown by approximately 26 percent year-on-year\n(yoy).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the online lending industry or pindar, the outstanding financing\nas of March 2026 grew 26.25 percent (yoy) to a nominal value of Rp\n101.03 trillion,\u201d stated the Executive Head of Supervision for Financing\nInstitutions, Venture Capital Companies, Microfinance Institutions, and\nOther Financial Service Institutions (PVML) of OJK, Agusman, during the\nonline press conference for the May 2026 Commissioners\u2019 Meeting on\nTuesday (5\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Agusman reported that the 90-day delinquency rate or TWP90 in the P2P\nlending industry as of March 2026 reached 4.52 percent. This figure is\nslightly lower than the previous month\u2019s TWP90, which was recorded at\n4.54 percent. The TWP90 position remains below the threshold set by OJK,\nwhich is 5 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe aggregate non-performing credit risk rate or TWP90 is recorded\nat 4.52 percent,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Agusman also provided data on financing\ndisbursements in the pawnshop industry as of March 2026. The pawnshop\nindustry\u2019s growth was recorded at more than 60 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the pawnshop industry, financing disbursements as of March 2026\ngrew by 60.27 percent (yoy) to Rp 153.49 trillion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the largest pawnshop industry financing was disbursed\nin the form of pawn products, amounting to Rp 127.90 trillion. This\nfigure accounts for 83.33 percent of the total financing disbursed by\nthe pawnshop industry.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, venture capital financing as of March 2026 experienced a\ncontraction of 0.95 percent (yoy) with a financing value of Rp 16.57\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, OJK recorded that in the PVML sector, financing receivables\nfrom financing companies grew by 0.61 percent (yoy) as of March 2026 to\nRp 514.09 trillion. Agusman stated that this was mainly supported by an\nincrease in working capital financing of 6.15 percent (yoy).<\/p>\n<p>Agusman explained that the risk profile of financing companies is\nmaintained, with the gross non-performing financing (NPF) ratio recorded\nat 2.83 percent and the net NPF at 0.8 percent.
