        "content": "<p>The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) has\nassured readiness for securing and escorting the movement of thousands\nof workers from various regions, particularly West Java, to Jakarta for\nthe International Labour Day (May Day) 2026 commemoration.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Korlantas Polri, Inspector General of Police Agus\nSuryonugroho, stated that preparations were conducted through a\ncoordination meeting with regional police units in Cibadak, Sukabumi\nPolice Resort.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by representatives from police resort\nchiefs, traffic directors, and operations section heads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently in the West Java Police Region, specifically in\nCibadak, Sukabumi Police Resort. We are holding a coordination meeting\nto prepare for the Labour Day security,\u201d Agus said in his statement on\nThursday (30\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>All movements have been mapped out and will receive strict escorting\nby officers.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate on-site supervision, Korlantas is also implementing a\nvehicle marking system using colour-coded stickers based on the origin\nregion.<\/p>\n<p>West Java will use blue stickers, Central Java yellow, East Java red,\nand Banten green.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is to make escorting in the field easier,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, coordination has been carried out with Jasa Marga to\nensure smooth traffic flow during the departure process until arrival at\nthe destination in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>They come from various labour unions, including SPSI with 1,550\npeople on 31 buses and KSBSI with 850 people on 17 buses.<\/p>\n<p>Then, around 350 workers from the DPC SPN will head to the Danantara\narea using 6 buses.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other groups are recorded at 2,000 people with 40\nbuses.<\/p>\n<p>The mass gathering points are spread across several locations, such\nas the Cigombong Toll Exit, Parungkuda Toll Exit, and several company\nareas in Sukabumi.<\/p>",
