        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian National Police (Polri), through\nNCB Interpol Indonesia, has successfully carried out an exchange of\nfugitives with the Chinese police.<\/p>\n<p>Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, Secretary of NCB Interpol\nIndonesia at the Polri International Relations Division, said in Jakarta\non Tuesday that NCB Interpol Indonesia repatriated three Chinese\nnationals who had fled to Indonesia, whilst the Chinese police handed\nover one Indonesian fugitive who had been hiding in that country.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the repatriation of the Chinese fugitives was split\ninto two departures.<\/p>\n<p>The first departure took the fugitives with the initials ZR and LZ to\nBaiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, arriving on Friday morning\n(10 July), whilst HZ was flown on the second departure and arrived in\nChina on Saturday (11 July).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll three Chinese fugitives were handed over to the Chinese police,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Indonesian fugitive with the initials KT, wanted in\nconnection with fraud or embezzlement, arrived at Soekarno-Hatta\nInternational Airport in Tangerang on Monday evening (13 July).<\/p>\n<p>After receiving KT, NCB Interpol Indonesia handed the individual over\nto investigators from the Special Crimes Directorate of Polri\u2019s Criminal\nInvestigation Department (Bareskrim) for further examination.<\/p>\n<p>ZR is Zheng Rongjing, a fugitive in an international online scam case\noriginating from Beijing, who was arrested as he was about to enter\nIndonesia. His identity was revealed by NCB Interpol Indonesia at a\npress conference on 26 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Zheng\u2019s arrest began when NCB Interpol Beijing submitted a request to\nNCB Interpol Indonesia on 5 March 2026 to trace Zheng Rongjing\u2019s\nwhereabouts and apprehend him.<\/p>\n<p>Zheng is strongly suspected of being a major player in online fraud\ncrimes.<\/p>",
