        "content": "<p>The live-fire exercise was held at the Baturaja Combat Training\nCenter in South Sumatra, according to a Marine Corps statement received\nin Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise tested both the weapon system\u2019s capabilities and the\nskills of the personnel operating it.<\/p>\n<p>Other countries participating in Super Garuda Shield 2026 also\ndisplayed rocket-launching systems, including the US M142 High Mobility\nArtillery Rocket System, or HIMARS.<\/p>\n<p>The Marine Corps said the entire exercise was completed successfully\nwithout any incidents.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise is expected to improve personnel\u2019s proficiency in\noperating weapons systems and strengthen ties among military personnel\nfrom participating countries.<\/p>\n<p>Super Garuda Shield 2026 involves 4,743 personnel from 21 countries,\nwho are in Indonesia to test operational readiness, defense diplomacy\nand capabilities to address various security challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesian Military Chief General Agus Subiyanto said Super Garuda\nShield is an annual exercise held across Indonesia from August 31 to\nSeptember 11, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuper Garuda Shield is held every year in Indonesia.
