        "content": "<p>Ilham Permana, a member of Commission VII of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI), has expressed his desire for Micro, Small, and\nMedium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia to successfully scale up their\noperations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMSMEs are the backbone of this nation\u2019s economy. Therefore, we must\nencourage MSMEs to continue developing and moving up the value chain,\u201d\nstated Ilham during the Socialisation of Standardisation and Conformity\nAssessment for MSMEs, held alongside the National Standardisation Agency\n(BSN) at the Grand Bydel Hotel, Cianjur, on Wednesday (16\/09\/202ng).<\/p>\n<p>According to Ilham, the strength of MSMEs lies not only in the large\nnumber of business actors but also in their ability to maintain quality,\nmeet standards, and remain competitive. In an increasingly open market,\nstandardisation serves as a key driver. Products that adhere to\nestablished standards can more easily gain consumer trust and possess\nthe opportunity to penetrate wider markets.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, this socialisation event is considered urgent for the\ncommunity in Cianjur, which is currently striving towards becoming a\npotential economic region.<\/p>\n<p>One participant, Budi, an MSME owner, expressed his enthusiasm for\nthe event. Budi hopes that such socialisation does not stop at mere\nunderstanding but is followed by continuous mentoring and ease of access\nfor MSMEs to meet various standardisation requirements. For small\nbusiness owners, scaling up is not just about turnover, but also about\nquality and trust.<\/p>\n<p>The event, held from morning until afternoon at the Grand Bydiel\nHotel in Cianjur, was attended with great enthusiasm by hundreds of\nparticipants, including MSME owners, youths, and students interested in\nentering the MSME sector. They expressed a strong desire to become\nsuccessful MSME entrepreneurs capable of competing amidst the tightening\nbusiness competition at both the Cianjur and West Java regional\nlevels.<\/p>",
