        "content": "<p>The team, comprising wildfire prevention educators and Alpha wildfire\nteams, arrived aboard an Indonesian Air Force C-130H Hercules\naircraft.<\/p>\n<p>The deployed 583 wildfire prevention educators comprise 50 senior\nofficers and 533 mid-ranking officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force and\nmilitary headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want prevention to start early. The personnel will educate\ncommunities, raise awareness, and encourage residents to work together\nto protect the environment,\u201d VI\/Mulawarman Military Command Chief of\nStaff Brigadier General Andy Setyawan said here on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The team was also welcomed by Dhomber Air Base Commander Colonel I\nGusti Ngurah Sorga Laksana, Balikpapan Military District Commander\nColonel Denny Salurerung and Balikpapan Naval Base Commander Colonel\nRudhiro Pratomo.<\/p>\n<p>All personnel immediately departed Dhomber Air Base for their\nrespective deployment locations.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Puan seeks Foreign Ministry talks over Kalimantan\nwildfire haze<\/p>\n<p>The wildfire prevention education team was assigned to the Balikpapan\nHajj Dormitory, while the Alpha team headed to the Dodikjur\nVI\/Mulawarman Barracks to prepare for field operations.<\/p>\n<p>Andy said tackling wildfires requires more than firefighting once\nfires have started. Prevention, education, and community involvement are\ncrucial during the dry season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrevention must be a joint effort.
