        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2014 The Indonesian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates,\nJudha Nugraha, announced that the embassy has implemented Alert Level 3\nstatus for Indonesian nationals currently in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The alert was established following escalating security developments\nin the Middle East triggered by Israeli and American military operations\nagainst Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince the incident on 28 February, when Iran launched an attack on\nthe UAE, the Indonesian Embassy has issued advisories and subsequently\nimplemented Alert Level 3 status,\u201d said Judha on Monday, 9 March 2026.\n\u201cWe hope that Indonesians will increase their vigilance and take\nprecautionary protective measures early on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The embassy is urging Indonesian nationals to immediately contact the\nIndonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Indonesian Consulate General in\nDubai in case of emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>The embassy continues to take anticipatory measures in case of\nfurther escalation in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must anticipate that the ground situation remains very fluid and\nhighly dynamic. Missile and drone attacks continue to occur. Even\nshortly before we conducted this interview, explosions were still heard\nin Abu Dhabi,\u201d Nugraha stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVigilance is therefore paramount, and people must follow the\ninstructions issued by local authorities,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Nugraha also reiterated the importance of registration for Indonesian\nnationals residing in the UAE. According to the ambassador, accurate\ndata is essential for the Indonesian mission to provide swift and\nappropriate responses, particularly in emergency situations.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, an incident occurred aboard the Musaffah 2 vessel as it\nprepared to conduct a towing operation in the Strait of Hormuz, waters\nbetween the UAE and Oman, on Friday, 6 March 2026. The incident resulted\nin three Indonesian crew members being reported missing, whilst one\nother crew member survived.<\/p>",
