        "content": "<p>Nine Indonesian nationals abducted by the Israeli Defence Forces have\nbeen released on Thursday (21 May 2026) and are in Turkey after being\nflown out from the occupied Palestinian territory of the Negev.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Consul-General in Istanbul, Darianto Harsono, said the\nnine Indonesians who took part in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) 2.0\nwere in Turkey. He confirmed that all nine Indonesians who were\nkidnapped by the Israeli forces were in good health.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We, the Indonesian Consul-General in Istanbul, alhamdulillah, today\ntogether with our nine brothers and sisters who joined the GSF (Global\nSumud Flotilla) mission are with us in good health,\u2019 he said in a video\nstatement posted on the official Instagram account of the Indonesian\nForeign Minister, <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"menluri\">@menluri<\/span>, on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that the Indonesians were detained for four to five days\nby the Israeli occupying forces. During the detention, the Indonesians\nreportedly endured various forms of abuse.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Although for three to four days they experienced physical violence,\nsome were kicked, beaten, or electrocuted,\u2019 said Darianto.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that the authorities would repatriate the Indonesians\nback home soon. The repatriation process would be carried out at the\nearliest opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We will endeavour to have our compatriots return home as soon as\npossible,\u2019 he added.<\/p>",
