        "content": "<p>Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA) - The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia\nto Malaysia, Dato Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo, expressed his concern\nover conflicts in various parts of the world that make it difficult for\nMuslims in conflict zones to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Iman Hascarya Kusumo conveyed this in his speech at the\nEid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah prayer event at the Embassy of the Republic of\nIndonesia (KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s Ramadan may feel heavier for some of us. While we strive\nto worship with devotion, our brothers and sisters in various parts of\nthe world, such as Palestine and Iran, still face conflict situations\nthat limit their space to perform worship peacefully,\u201d said Ambassador\nIman.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Iman stated that Indonesian Muslims in Malaysia should\njoin in praying for Muslims in conflict areas to be granted strength,\nresilience, and patience for the realisation of peace.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he said that Eid al-Fitr is a day eagerly awaited by all\nMuslims around the world. Eid al-Fitr is a moment that should be\ncelebrated with full gratitude, joy, and pride.<\/p>\n<p>He said that Ramadan teaches Muslims to always remember Allah SWT,\nincrease faith and piety, and train oneself to restrain desires.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Ramadan also teaches Muslims to have greater empathy for\nthose less fortunate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMay these values not stop only in this Ramadan month, but continue\nto be carried into our daily lives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, Ambassador Iman also extended his highest thanks and\nappreciation to all Indonesian citizens (WNI) in Malaysia, who have been\na positive reflection of the nation abroad, by always upholding values\nof friendliness, maintaining manners, courtesy, mutual respect, and\npreserving togetherness among one another.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn closing, I pray that Indonesia is always granted blessings,\nsecurity, and peace by Allah SWT, and that we all are given health and\nhappiness,\u201d said Ambassador Iman.<\/p>\n<p>After delivering his speech, Ambassador Iman apologised to the\nIndonesian citizens present at the KBRI Kuala Lumpur for not being able\nto join in performing the Eid al-Fitr prayer together at the\nembassy.<\/p>\n<p>He had to proceed to the Istana Negara Malaysia to attend an\ninvitation for congregational Eid al-Fitr prayers with the King of\nMalaysia, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim.<\/p>",
