        "content": "<p>Indonesia wants tariff cut<\/p>\n<p>AUCKLAND (Dow Jones): Indonesian Trade and Industry Minister<br>\nRahardi Ramelan said Wednesday that Indonesia is particularly<br>\nkeen for the World Trade Organization to tackle high tariffs on<br>\nsemiprocessed and processed agricultural products in its next<br>\nround of talks.<\/p>\n<p>At present, \"there is a high tariff for semiprocessed products<br>\nand processed products\" produced by the agricultural sector,<br>\nRamelan said.<\/p>\n<p>Rahardi also said he strongly supports a decision by trade<br>\nministers in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum to push<br>\nfor a broad round of world trade talks that include negotiating<br>\non trade in industrial goods.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Dow Jones Newswires, Rahardi also said<br>\nthat Indonesia is considering a further cut in the export tax on<br>\ncrude palm oil in a bid to lift prices.<\/p>\n<p>He said setting the right export tax was complex, given the<br>\nlow price of the commodity on international markets.<\/p>",
