        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - There were several interesting economic news\nstories occurring on Thursday (25\/6), ranging from information regarding\nthe government\u2019s plan to stop diesel imports by 2026 to Pertamina\u2019s\nGamsunoro vessel successfully navigating the critical Strait of Hormuz\nsafely.<\/p>\n<p>Here are yesterday\u2019s economic news highlights worth noting this\nmorning.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia to stop diesel imports this year following B50 mandate<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia,\nconfirmed that Indonesia is halting the import of diesel-type fuel\nfollowing the 50 per cent biodiesel (B50) mandate set for July 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNext July, we will officially launch B50; this will save Indonesia\u2019s\nface from our dependence on diesel imports. Starting this year, we will\nno longer be importing diesel,\u201d Bahlil stated in Jakarta on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Bahlil: Tuban Mini LNG Plant to reduce LPG imports<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia,\nstated that the Mini LNG Plant, or gas processing facility in Tuban,\nEast Java, is capable of reducing Indonesia\u2019s LPG imports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis (Tuban Mini LNG Plant) can reduce our imports. Therefore, the\nimports we have been conducting can be reduced through local\nproduction,\u201d Bahlil said after inaugurating the PT Sumber Aneka Gas Mini\nLNG Plant in Tuban, East Java, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Bahlil targets completion of 3kg CNG cylinder trials by\nJuly<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, aims\nfor the trials of 3kg Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cylinders to be\ncompleted around July\u2013August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently in the third stage of testing.
