"summary": "Indonesia is establishing a multi-agency task force, involving the National Police, SKK Migas, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, and Pertamina, to regulate and manage illegal oil wells in regions like Sumatra and Kalimantan amid rising global oil prices. This initiative aims to strengthen domestic reserves by acquiring community-managed wells under Ministerial Regulation Number 14 of 2025, allowing Pertamina to purchase them with cooperation agreements, while strictly prohibiting new wells and enforcing operations on existing unauthorized sites. The move underscores Indonesia's efforts to enhance resource security and compliance in its upstream oil and gas sector.",
