\u201cAs the new Head of BGN, I will ensure zero tolerance for food\npoisoning, corruption, and dishonest practices, such as embezzlement,\u201d\nhe said in an official statement in Jakarta, Sunday.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that all Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPGs)\nare required to strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)\nto prevent similar food safety incidents from recurring.<\/p>\n
According to him, compliance with SOPs and kitchen management systems\nis key to ensuring food safety for beneficiaries. He emphasized that\nkitchen heads have full responsibility for ensuring all procedures are\ncarried out in a disciplined manner.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo prevent a recurrence, we must follow the SOP, the system and the\nhead of SPPG. I understand you have chefs, nutrition supervisors, or\nother people working there, and maybe one or two are stubborn, so there\nmust be firm leadership,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Sudaryono said SPPG heads must take firm action against staff who do\nnot comply with hygiene and food safety procedures, for example not\nwashing hands, not wearing gloves, or not wearing masks while preparing\nfood.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf there are kitchen employees who do not comply, they must be\nremoved. Must be firm, because people\u2019s health and lives are very\nimportant. There will be no more (tolerance),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
