The initiative is part of the\ngovernment\u2019s strategy to accelerate industrial transformation and\nenhance the competitiveness of Indonesian manufacturing in the global\nmarket.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia is committed to expanding international collaboration that\nprovides real added value to national industrial development, especially\nas we enter the era of the fourth industrial revolution,\u201d Indostry\nMinister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said in Jakarta on Friday, June 12,\n2026, as reported on the ministry\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n<p>This commitment was followed up through a bilateral meeting between\nthe Indonesian delegation, led by Director General of Resilience,\nRegional Affairs, and International Industrial Access (KPAII), Tri\nSupondy, and Xiamen Mayor Wu Bin.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, both sides discussed investment opportunities and\nthe development of strategic industrial sectors for collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Tri noted that Xiamen\u2019s industrial ecosystem is highly developed and\naligns with Indonesia\u2019s industrial development goals. Through a closer\npartnership, Indonesia hopes to attract new investments, accelerate\ntechnology transfers, and strengthen national industries\u2019 integration\ninto the global supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>The Xiamen City Administration proposed collaboration in several\nsectors, including automotive, data centers, healthcare, digital\ntourism, fisheries, and prefabricated construction. These sectors are\nconsidered to have strong growth potential in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Xiamen, one of China\u2019s first Special Economic Zones (SEZs), is known\nfor its strengths in semiconductors, electronic components, smart\nelectrical equipment, port logistics, and aircraft maintenance and\nrepair (MRO).
