        "content": "<p>The corals were cultivated by PT Sri Kandi Aquarium, a local\naquaculture company based in Ketapang, Banyuwangi, East Java.<\/p>\n<p>Santoso emphasized that the government will continue to promote local\nproducts while providing comprehensive marketing and training support\nfor local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Trade Ministry currently operates trade\nrepresentative offices and Indonesian Trade Promotion Centers (ITPCs) in\n33 countries to facilitate these efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir mandate is to connect with prospective buyers and promote\nIndonesian products on the global stage, including commodities produced\nby MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) right here in\nBanyuwangi,\u201d Santoso explained.<\/p>\n<p>I Ketut Sukandi, owner of the aquaculture company, said the shipment\nbound for the US comprised approximately 200 pieces of cultivated live\nornamental coral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also export to several European countries six to seven times a\nmonth on average. Each shipment is valued at around $2,500, depending on\nthe order,\u201d Sukandi said.<\/p>\n<p>Since its establishment in 2011, the company has successfully\ncultivated and exported 29 species of live coral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the most highly sought-after varieties in the global market\nis Euphyllia coral. Our export market currently spans 20 countries,\nincluding Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, the United\nStates, Canada, and Mexico,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the shipment, Minister Santoso and Deputy Head of Banyuwangi\nDistrict Mujiono inspected the cultivation facility.
