        "content": "<p>He said stronger IP protection would secure financial rights over\ncreative works while helping Indonesian products compete\ninternationally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, in every negotiation with other countries, intellectual\nproperty is always a key concern because we must protect our national\nassets in both domestic and global markets,\u201d Santoso said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He said products backed by strong intellectual property generate\neconomic value while creating jobs and improving public welfare.<\/p>\n<p>The Trade Ministry supports Indonesia\u2019s intellectual property\necosystem by linking innovation with markets through commercialization\nand downstream development of intellectual property.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry promotes IP-based products through trade promotion,\nbusiness matching, marketplaces, export facilitation and stronger\nbranding for Indonesian goods.<\/p>\n<p>It is also working to improve the competitiveness of IP-based\nexports, ensuring Indonesian products combine high quality with legally\nprotected identities in global markets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesian products must not only be of high quality but also have\nlegally protected identities through trademarks and patents.
