        "content": "<p>The ministry\u2019s Deputy for Commerce and Digital Economy Coordination\nAli Murtopo Simbolon said the framework provides a strategic platform to\ndeepen economic ties between Indonesia and China.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis partnership is aimed not only at boosting investment but also\nstrengthening industrial connectivity, supply chains, technology\ntransfer, added value, and job creation in Indonesia,\u201d Simbolon said in\nan official statement on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, 30 memorandums of understanding were signed under the\nframework, representing total commitments of about Rp37.1 trillion\n(US$2.09 billion).<\/p>\n<p>At the China-Indonesia Two Countries Twin Parks Investment Promotion\nConference in Xiamen on Sept.\u00a09, Indonesia secured an additional Rp51\ntrillion (US$2.87 billion) in business commitments, bringing the total\nto Rp88.1 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Simbolon said the commitments mark an initial phase requiring\ncontinued monitoring until projects reach implementation and investment\nrealization.
