        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia has secured US$17 billion in funding\nfrom the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to support national\ndevelopment projects during the 2025-2029 period.<\/p>\n<p>The funding commitment was one of the main outcomes of a bilateral\nmeeting between Indonesian Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa and\nAIIB leaders in Beijing, China, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a very significant contribution to the financing of\ndevelopment projects in Indonesia,\u201d Purbaya said in a statement issued\non Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The financing forms part of the Multi-Year Rolling Pipeline framework\nagreed upon with AIIB.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the financing commitment, AIIB also expressed interest in\nexpanding its presence in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The multilateral lender is considering opening a representative\noffice in Jakarta to strengthen cooperation and improve coordination in\nimplementing AIIB-supported projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAIIB is also interested in establishing a representative office in\nJakarta.
