Minister of Investment and Downstreaming\/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa\nRoeslani has announced that Indonesia secured a total of Rp 950 trillion\nin investment during the first semester of 2025. Of that figure, 30 per\ncent \u2014 approximately Rp 285 trillion \u2014 came from downstreaming programme\ninvestments.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just received the report a few days ago. From the investment that\ncame in during the second quarter of 2025, or over one semester, the\ncontribution was roughly Rp 950 trillion or more, with 30 per cent\ncoming from downstreaming,\u201d he explained at the Ministry of Energy and\nMineral Resources office in Jakarta on Tuesday (22 July 2025).<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I may share a little, the contribution from investment in the\ndownstreaming sector has indeed increased quite significantly,\u201d Rosan\nsaid.<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming\/BKPM\nreport, realised investment in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp\n465.2 trillion, representing 24.4 per cent of the established\ntarget.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is in line with our target. In fact, compared to the previous\nyear, it represents a year-on-year increase of 15.9 per cent,\u201d Rosan\nsaid at the Presidential Office in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
