        "content": "<p>Indonesia\u2019s presence at the 81st Session of the United Nations\nGeneral Assembly (UNGA) serves as a momentum to reaffirm its strong\ncommitment to multilateralism and global peace.<\/p>\n<p>As stated by the Spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign\nAffairs, Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela, to ANTARA on Tuesday, Indonesia\u2019s\nparticipation in this annual UN agenda strengthens its role in promoting\ndialogue, bridging differences, and building consensus amidst various\nglobal challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia will optimise this opportunity to voice the interests of\ndeveloping nations and reaffirm its commitment to continuing its\ncontributions to world peace, as has been maintained historically.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia will also pay special attention to the fate of the\nPalestinian people amidst Zionist military aggression and the\nobstruction of humanitarian aid caused by Israel\u2019s actions. This\nincludes reaffirming support for the Palestinian struggle and efforts\nfor the recovery and reconstruction of Gaza, said Nabyl.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign Minister Sugiono is scheduled to deliver Indonesia\u2019s national\nstatement during the General Debate session of the UN General Assembly\non Saturday night (26\/9).<\/p>\n<p>While in New York, Sugiono will attend various high-level and\nministerial meetings discussing strategic issues including peace and\nsecurity, the Palestinian issue, climate change, and multilateralism.\nOne of the earliest agendas attended by Sugiono in New York on Monday\nwas the Ministerial Meeting of the \u2018Group of Eight Arab and Islamic\nCountries\u2019 alongside representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan,\nQatar, the United Arab Emirates, T\u00fcrkiye, and Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The 81st Session of the UN General Assembly officially opened in New\nYork on 8 September. The Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Khalilur\nRahman, was elected as the President of the UN General Assembly for this\nsession, succeeding former German Foreign Minister Annalena\nBaerbock.<\/p>\n<p>This session carries the theme \u2018Revitalising trust, managing\ntransformation: A UN that delivers results for all\u2019. The General Debate\nsession of the UN General Assembly is scheduled to take place from 22-26\nSeptember and will continue on 28 September.<\/p>",
