At the India-Indonesia Critical Mineral Conference held in Jakarta on\nTuesday (24 February), Patria assessed that Indonesia now occupies a\nstrategic position, shifting from being merely a raw materials exporter\nto becoming a key partner in global technology supply chains.<\/p>\n
During the occasion, he expressed his admiration for India\u2019s\ntechnological developments, which he witnessed directly at the AI Impact\nSummit in India the previous week.<\/p>\n
This statement outlined Indonesia\u2019s new policy direction in building\nstrategic partnerships with India, which has successfully accelerated\nits technology ecosystem through the Make in India initiative.<\/p>\n
\u201cIndia is not merely participating in the future\u2014it is building it,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
As a follow-up, the Indonesian government has proposed three main\ncollaborative agendas with India. First, jointly developing Indonesia\nthrough investment in mineral processing facilities to produce\nhigh-quality electronic materials.<\/p>\n
