Indonesia consistently implements its\nprinciple of free and active foreign policy, in accordance with the 1945\nConstitution, which stipulates non-alignment with any power bloc whilst\nactively promoting world peace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot be part of any military alliance,\u201d said Prabowo in an\nexclusive interview with Bloomberg published under the headline \u201cPrabowo\nOpen to Breach Indonesia Deficit Cap Only During Crisis,\u201d as cited by\nRepublika in Jakarta on Monday, 16 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Indonesia stands on its own feet and does not\ndepend on the strength of other nations.
