        "content": "<p>Indonesia loses to Moldova in Chess Olympiad<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia placed the wrong line-up against<br>\nMoldova by resting its ace player Utut Adianto at the 34th Chess<br>\nOlympiad in Istanbul on Sunday which resulted in a 1.5-2.5<br>\nVictory Points (VPs) defeat in the eighth round.<\/p>\n<p>Ruben Gunawan -- who had only one victory and one draw from<br>\nfive previous matches -- had to bow out to Dmitri Svetushkin 0-1<br>\nin the 35th move.<\/p>\n<p>Second player Denny Juswanto managed to oust Vasile Sanduleac<br>\nby winning 1-0 after a hard match which ended in the 56th move.<\/p>\n<p>Cerdas Barus -- who has never won in his previous five matches<br>\nbut only had four draws -- also had to lose to Viktor Somliakov<br>\n0-1 in the 45th move.<\/p>\n<p>Rudin Hamdani managed to force a draw against Alexey<br>\nKhruschiov after the 34th move.<\/p>\n<p>Utut, the best Grand Master Indonesia has ever had, has never<br>\nlost in his four previous matches.<\/p>\n<p>So far, Indonesia collected 17.5 VPs to finish in the 40th<br>\nplace while Moldova earned a total of 18.5 VPs to stay in the<br>\n32nd position.<\/p>\n<p>Germany still leads with 23.5 VPs followed by Russia with 22.5<br>\nVPs and Ukraine with 22.0 VPs.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&apos;s side, Indonesia was powerless against Wales<br>\nlosing 1.0-2.0 VPs.<\/p>\n<p>Upi D.
