        "content": "<p>Indonesia has officially introduced its first aviation leasing\ninvestment platform, known as the Mandiri Aviation Leasing Fund. This\ninitiative represents a strategic collaboration between Danantara\nInvestment Management, SMBC Aviation Capital, and Mandiri Investment\nManagement.<\/p>\n<p>Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia,\nstated that this partnership marks Indonesia\u2019s significant participation\nin the global aviation financing ecosystem. The initial portfolio value\nof the platform is estimated at around US$800 million or the equivalent\nof Rp13.53 trillion, based on an exchange rate of Rp16,916 per US\ndollar, as reported by Detik Finance.<\/p>\n<p>Pandu explained that through its role as a lead partner alongside\nSMBC Aviation Capital and Mandiri Investment Management, Danantara\nIndonesia is not only investing in a world-class platform promising\noptimal returns but also building essential strategic capacity for\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Mandiri Aviation Leasing Fund will be jointly managed by Mandiri\nInvestment Management and SMBC Aviation Capital. This cooperation\nagreement integrates Mandiri Investment Management\u2019s capabilities in\ndesigning investment platform structures with SMBC Aviation Capital\u2019s\ndeep operational expertise in the aviation leasing sector.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, SMBC Aviation Capital will be responsible\nfor operational services and aircraft leasing management for the Mandiri\nAviation Leasing Fund. These\nagreements are valued at a total of US$23.63 billion or approximately\nRp401.71 trillion, as reported by Metrotvnews.com.<\/p>\n<p>These agreements cover various sectors, from the development of\ndownstream projects based on clean energy, such as methanol production\nfrom carbon emissions, exploration and development in the oil and gas\nsector, to geothermal energy development. He also mentioned funding of\naround Rp5 trillion or US$300 million from SMBC Bank for Pegadaian, as\nreported by Kumparan.<\/p>\n<p>The Abadi Gas Field project in the Masela Block, involving PT\nPertamina (Persero) and INPEX, has an initial investment value of\nUS$20.9 billion. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil\nLahadalia, stated that this value has the potential to increase amid\nglobal geopolitical uncertainties.<\/p>\n<p>Other collaborations include the Indonesia-Japan Strategic Beauty\nPartnership between PT Nose Herbal Indo and 2Way World with an\ninvestment value of US$500 million, as well as the Hululais Geothermal\nPower Plant Project between the Indonesian Government and JICA.
