"summary": "Indonesia's Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries has inaugurated Southeast Asia's first laboratory for testing radioactive contamination in seafood commodities. The facility in East Jakarta is designed to ensure safety standards and bolster the competitiveness of Indonesian fishery exports, particularly shrimp destined for the United States. The lab's certification for Cesium-137-free testing has already facilitated the entry of over 64,000 tonnes of shrimp worth Rp 10.85 trillion into the US market.",
"content": "<p>The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Marine Affairs and\nFisheries (KKP), has officially inaugurated the operational radioactive\ncontamination testing laboratory for marine commodities at the Bureau of\nQuality Control Standards and Fisheries Product Safety (BUSPM) in\nCipayung, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Head of the Bureau of Quality Control, Monitoring, and\nSupervision of Marine and Fisheries Products at KKP, Ishartini, stated\nthat this is the first radioactive testing laboratory for fishery\nproducts in Southeast Asia.
