        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of\nForestry (Kemenhut), is strengthening more innovative and impactful\nforestry cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency\n(JICA). Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni, in his statement in Jakarta\non Monday, said this is a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s\ndirectives regarding the enhancement of bilateral cooperation between\nIndonesia and Japan. \u201cBoth parties have agreed to strengthen strategic\ncooperation in the forestry sector, particularly in supporting the\nagenda of climate change control, land degradation rehabilitation, and\nthe management of world-class conservation areas,\u201d said Forestry\nMinister Raja Antoni. This agreement emerged during a meeting between\nForestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni and JICA Senior Vice President\nYoshifumi Yoshikawa in Tokyo, Japan. In the meeting, Forestry Minister\nRaja Antoni emphasised that the Indonesian government has a strong\ncommitment to climate change control and accelerating the rehabilitation\nof degraded land as part of efforts to maintain environmental\nsustainability while improving community welfare. In addition, Kemenhut\nconveyed its grand vision of developing Indonesia\u2019s conservation areas\ninto World Class National Parks, which excel not only in biodiversity\nprotection but also in governance, best practices in ecotourism, and\ncontributions to local and global economies. \u201cKemenhut invites JICA to\njointly strengthen the World Mangrove Center initiative as a bridge for\nglobal efforts in rehabilitation, research, education, and innovation in\nmangrove ecosystem management.
