        "content": "<p>TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Trade has identified\n2,616 villages across various regions as part of the \u2018Desa Bisa Ekspor\u2019\nprogram (Exportable Villages Program) to expand the national exporter\nbase and promote regional products in international markets.<\/p>\n<p>Ari Satria, the ministry\u2019s director of Export Development for\nServices and Creative Products, said the program is part of the\ngovernment\u2019s efforts to build a regional export ecosystem by identifying\nthe potential of each village.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince primary products are often produced in villages, we are\nconducting an activity called Exportable Villages, together with the\nMinistry of Villages,\u201d Ari said in Jakarta on Sunday, July 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Ari explained that the identified villages are then grouped based on\ntheir level of export readiness, allowing assistance to be tailored to\ntheir individual needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far, we have identified 2,616 villages across Indonesia. We group\nvillages based on their export readiness, ranging from those already\nprepared to export to those with strong potential that still require\nfurther development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Besides mapping villages\u2019 potential, the Ministry of Trade is also\nfacilitating MSMEs by acting as an intermediary with foreign buyers in\nthe initial stages.<\/p>\n<p>This way, the government links MSMEs with aggregators or off-takers\nto support product development and marketing.<\/p>\n<p>It also continues to strengthen mentoring programs to help MSMEs meet\nthe export requirements of destination countries.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, business actors must understand various\nrequirements imposed by export markets, including food safety, halal\ncertification, and other regulatory standards.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the approach will strengthen MSMEs\u2019 confidence and\nimprove product readiness for international markets.<\/p>\n<p>The government expects more villages to develop their flagship\ncommodities into value-added export products, expanding the benefits of\ninternational trade to local communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is what we are pushing.
