        "content": "<p>Both parties are committed to optimizing the use of AKSARA - the\nPlanning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Application for Low-Carbon and\nClimate-Resilient Development Actions - as a strategic platform for\ndata-driven green economy policymaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe partnership with GIZ fully supports efforts to strengthen\ninstitutional capacity for greener and more sustainable development,\u201d\nCommission Manager of the Climate and Biodiversity Hub at GIZ Indonesia\n&amp; ASEAN, Karin Allgoewer said in a statement received on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe AKSARA application plays a strategic role in transforming\nadministrative records of emission reduction activities into a reliable\ndatabase that supports economic competitiveness and climate resilience.\nStrengthening regional capacity is essential to ensuring well-targeted\ngreen financing,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>According to Allgoewer, through AKSARA, the Indonesian government is\nworking to improve the accuracy and integration of emission reduction\ndata to support sustainable development policies.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership also aims to strengthen greenhouse gas emission\ncalculation methodologies and enhance the capacity of local governments\nin implementing reporting systems that support green financing.<\/p>\n<p>The organization also supports the Indonesian government in\nimplementing a more transparent emission reduction reporting system in\nline with the Paris Agreement and the Enhanced Transparency\nFramework.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that AKSARA enables local governments to map, monitor, and\nevaluate emission reduction initiatives on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>The application is also integrated with the Climate Budget Tagging\nfeature through the CONNECT platform, which was jointly developed with\nIndonesia\u2019s Ministry of Finance.
