"summary": "Indonesia's palm biomass industry is demonstrating positive growth in the global market, particularly Japan, with over 5 million tons of annual exports of Palm Kernel Shell (PKS). The Indonesian Palm Shell Business Association (APCASI) participated in the International Biomass Expo 2026 in Tokyo, promoting PKS and Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) pellets, supported by government bodies like the Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) and the Ministry of Trade. This initiative highlights Indonesia's vast potential of 232 million metric tons of palm biomass annually, equivalent to 38,760 MW of electricity capacity, aiding the global shift to sustainable energy and bolstering bilateral trade relations with Japan.",
