"summary": "During the Eid al-Fitr homecoming period from March 13 to 21, 2026, Indonesia's 37 airports handled 4.41 million passengers, marking a 3.7 percent increase from the previous year. Peak traffic occurred on March 18 with 568,964 passengers, while operations remained smooth due to effective planning and stakeholder coordination, including the realization of around 2,000 additional flights from 2,500 requests. This surge highlights the rising demand for transportation during festive periods and the robustness of Indonesia's aviation infrastructure.",
