        "content": "<p>Indonesia Eases Local Content Certification for Small Industries<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta. Industry Ministry is waiving certification fees and\nsimplifying procedures for small manufacturers to obtain domestic\ncomponent level (TKDN) certificates, aiming to boost their access to\ngovernment procurement and expand market share.<\/p>\n<p>Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said the facilitation\nincludes a self-declare mechanism that allows small and medium\nindustries (IKM) to apply for TKDN certification free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>The policy forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen the\ncompetitiveness of locally made products in the domestic market and\naccelerate national industrial growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main objective is to expand the market share of domestic\nproducts while generating a significant multiplier effect to maintain\nnational economic stability,\u201d Agus said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He added that government support for local products, particularly\nfrom IKM, is reflected in Presidential Instruction No.\u00a02\/2022, which\nmandates that 40% of government procurement spending be allocated to\ngoods and services produced by local MSMEs and small industries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this policy, the government is also accelerating the listing\nof domestic products, including those from MSMEs, IKM, and cooperatives,\nin national, sectoral, and local e-catalogs. This is expected to\nincrease their participation in government procurement,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Director General for Small, Medium, and Miscellaneous Industries\n(IKMA) Reni Yanita said the ministry continues to assist small\nindustries in applying for TKDN certification through the self-declare\nscheme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this regulation, small industries are given easier access to meet\nTKDN certification requirements through the self-declare mechanism,\u201d\nReni said.<\/p>\n<p>The facilitation is reinforced by Industry Ministry Regulation\nNo.\u00a035\/2025, which took effect on Dec.\u00a011, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its implementation, the ministry recently held a hybrid\noutreach and assistance program on TKDN certification at Politeknik AKA\nBogor, attended by 65 in-person participants from Bogor and more than\n250 participants online nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing forward, this policy is expected to continue delivering\npositive impacts on local economic growth, job creation, and overall\npublic welfare,\u201d Reni said.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify for TKDN self-declare certification, businesses must be\nregistered in the National Industrial Information System (SIINas) and\nvalidated as small industries under IKMA Director General Regulation\nNo.\u00a0261\/2025.<\/p>\n<p>Tags: Keywords:<\/p>",
