Indonesia condemns Jordan bomb attacks<\/p>\n

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono condemned on
\nThursday the deadly bomb attacks on Western hotels in Jordan
\nthat killed 57 people, including one Indonesian citizen.<\/p>\n
Susilo also urged the global community to increase cooperation
\nin fighting against terrorism.<\/p>\n
\"The President on behalf of the Indonesian people expressed his
\ndeepest condolences over the tragedy. The President also stressed
\nthe need for global solidarity to fight against terrorist
\nattacks,\" Dino Patti Djalal, a presidential spokesman, told
\nAntara.<\/p>\n
An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on
\nThursday that the ministry had received information from the Indonesian
\nEmbassy in Jordan that three Indonesians were among the victims
\nof the suspected suicide bombings.<\/p>\n
Ministry spokesman Yuri Thamrin said that the dead victim was
\nidentified as Perri Pattisilano, 55, while two other Indonesians,
\nidentified as Harjanto and Pinky, were injured in the blasts and
\nwere now being treated in the hospital in Amman.<\/p>\n
\"The three Indonesian victims were musicians working at (the Grand
\nHyatt) hotel,\" the ministry said in a statement sent to The
\nJakarta Post.<\/p>\n
The statement added that the ministry had informed the
\nvictims' families.<\/p>\n
\"We are still discussing the return of Perri's remains with
\nhis family,\" Yuri said.<\/p>\n
The statement said that Minister Hassan Wirayuda had conveyed
\na message of sympathy on behalf of the Indonesian government to
\nJordanian Foreign Minister Y.M. Farouk Kasrawi.<\/p>\n
Hassan has also ordered the Indonesian Ambassador in Jordan to
\nvisit hospitals in Amman to ascertain whether any other
\nIndonesian citizens had been affected by the attacks.<\/p>",
