The confirmation came following his signing of a\ncooperation agreement with the EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei\nDarussalam, H.E. Denis Chaibi.<\/p>\n<p>Rosan explained that the EU Desk will serve as a coordination and\ninvestment platform for EU member states in supporting Indonesia\u2019s\ndownstreaming agenda, green transition, and technology development\ninitiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia and the European Union have formalised the establishment\nof the EU Desk within the Ministry of Investment and\nDownstreaming\/BKPM,\u201d Rosan stated on Sunday (15\/6\/2025).<\/p>\n<p>Rosan emphasised that this development is aligned with efforts to\naccelerate the completion of negotiations for the Indonesia-EU\nComprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), which holds\nsignificant potential to open broader market access.<\/p>\n<p>According to information gathered, the EU is supporting the EU Desk\nthrough the EU-Indonesia Cooperation Facility (EUICF), and it will be\nhoused within the offices of the Ministry of Investment and\nDownstreaming\/BKPM.<\/p>\n<p>The EU Desk will facilitate discussions on investment policies\nbetween EU investors and regulators, identify potential projects, and\noffer assistance for business development. Furthermore, the EU Desk will\nserve as a bridge to financial institutions of EU member states and\nprivate investors in driving domestic investment mobilisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis partnership reflects a new spirit in Indonesia\u2019s\nfuture-oriented economic diplomacy,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Minister Rosan had stated that Indonesia holds a highly\nattractive strategic position for global investors, particularly those\nfrom Europe.
