The commitment was\nmarked by the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and\ncooperation agreements, witnessed by President Prabowo and Belarusian\nPresident Alexandr Lukashenko at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on\nThursday, 2 July 2026. \u201cThe commitment of Indonesia and Belarus to\nstrengthen bilateral relations is also evidenced today by the agreement\non a number of cooperation documents by the delegations of both\ncountries,\u201d stated President Prabowo. \u201cI hope that this cooperation can\nbe implemented immediately so that it provides real benefits in the near\nfuture for both countries,\u201d he added. The MoUs and agreements agreed\nupon during the meeting include industrial cooperation between the\nMinistry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of\nIndustry of the Republic of Belarus; cultural cooperation between the\nMinistry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of\nCulture of the Republic of Belarus; and cooperation between the\nFinancial Services Authority (OJK) and the National Bank of Belarus.\nAdditionally, there is health cooperation between the Ministry of Health\nof the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Health of the Republic\nof Belarus, and an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation\nbetween the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) of the\nRepublic of Indonesia and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.\nThe meeting also saw the agreement on a Roadmap for the Development of\nKey Areas of Cooperation between the Republic of Indonesia and the\nRepublic of Belarus for 2026-2030. This series of agreements reflects\nthe strong commitment of both countries to bring bilateral relations to\na closer, more productive, and mutually beneficial level. Through the\nimplementation of these various cooperations, Indonesia and Belarus are\nexpected to strengthen economic growth, encourage innovation, enhance\nhuman resource capacity, and fortify a strategic partnership oriented\ntowards shared prosperity.<\/p>",
