Indonesia against abortion<\/p>\n

A world conference was held recently to debate, among other
\nthings, the issue of abortion. The Mexican film serial Test Tube
\nMother was aired on one of the TV stations at the same time.<\/p>\n
Indonesia strongly objected to the practice of abortion as an
\nalternative to the global effort to check the population
\nexplosion. We are also against the practice of co-habitation,
\nmarriage between couples of the same sex, womb rental and the
\nexistence of sperm banks.<\/p>\n
We regard illegal marriages (without the blessing of the
\nrespective religion) as immoral, which can be look upon as
\nadultery. While homosexuality and lesbianism are the kinds of
\nbehavior that can spread the Human Immunodeficiency Virus.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that both womb rental and sperm banks may
\nend up with the problem of determining the status of the baby.
\nThe question is: who are the mother and father of the baby?<\/p>\n
In this context I appeal to the film producers to look at the
\nissue not only from the psychological point of view but more
\nimportantly from the religious point of view.<\/p>\n
