The affirmation was made after the minister met with President\nPrabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (18\/6\/2026).\nAmran dismissed doubts regarding the self-sufficiency claim by\npresenting real food stock data as of June 2026, which he described as\nvery abundant. According to a report from the Ministry of Agriculture,\nthe government\u2019s rice stockpile has reached 5.2 million tonnes. This\nfigure far exceeds the internal warehouse capacity of the State\nLogistics Agency (Bulog), which can only accommodate 3 million tonnes.\nThis surplus has forced Bulog to take extra measures to secure the\nexisting supply. \u2018Bulog\u2019s capacity is only 3 million tonnes, but our\nstock is 5.2 million tonnes.
