        "content": "<p>Indhasana to mine kaolin<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Indhasana Intisupra Kaolin plans to mine<br>\nkaolin and build a kaolin processing plant in Belitung, South<br>\nSumatra, with an investment of Rp 15 billion (US$6.5 million)<\/p>\n<p>The company's president, Soetadi, said in Palembang, South<br>\nSumatra, that the plant, which will have a production capacity of<br>\n900,000 tons of kaolin per annum, will process 250 tons a day.<\/p>\n<p>Soetadi was quoted Tuesday by Antara as saying that his<br>\ncompany has secured the market for its kaolin, including paper<br>\nfirms in Banyuwangi, East Java, and in Magelang, Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>Currently Belitung has 18 kaolin processing plants with a<br>\ntotal production of some 600,000 tons per annum, of which 70<br>\npercent is exported to Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.<br>\n(rid)<\/p>",
